Position: Expeditor Mechanical
Job Location: Vadodara
Qualification: Diploma / B.E – Mechanical
Experience: 4 – 8 years
Roles & Responsibilities
To coordinate with cross functional team like vendor, Subcontractor, Engineering, Fabrication, Project
Management, Planning, Logistics, freight forwarder & Quality Team.
To develop the delivery plan with the help of delivery head, procurement manager, Project manager.
Facilitate inspection activities of critical items & ensure all necessary documents are furnished to QC for release
note.
To coordinate with vendors, attend vendor meetings & review manufacturing progress of equipments
Recommend catch-up plan and ensure implementation to meet the delivery schedule.
Resolving material/documentation related discrepancies after receipt at site.
To remove bottlenecks regarding document approval/payment/transportation/inspection etc.
To review vendor progress report, logistic report & prepare procurement tracking sheet in line with project
schedule.
Highlight critical issue & potential risk affecting the supplier delivery schedule that require intervention of
buyer/PPM/PMT.
Ensuring timely inputs like BOQ, RFQ, TBE, CBE, TQ, P/R & P/O to support revenue targets.
Close coordination with logistics department to deliver the material at yard.
