SummaryWe are looking for young enthusiastic candidate having education background in polymer chemistry/science will be assisting polymer research to enhance user experience of existing product by evaluating current application process, users’ feed- back and technical problems being faced by product development team. Major responsibilities include as per below.Duties and responsibilities
The Polymer Chemist I will support team members in polymer synthesis, purification, characterization, and data analysis for a variety of applications.
Specifically, the Polymer Chemist I will:
Assist in designing experiments resulting in improved synthetic methods to produce novel polymers.
Purify the products of synthesis reactions.
Execute experiments as per planned for polymer synthesis, formulations and modification.
Polymerize monomers using controlled living polymerization techniques.
Characterize the products of chemical reactions using analytical instrumentation including, but not limited to, dynamic light scattering, nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis.
Keep detailed laboratory documentation related to process steps, observations, and results.
Support periodic status reports summarizing procedures, protocols, and experimental data.
Maintain a safe, well-stocked and clean laboratory.
Assist with the development of SOPs and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education o MSc/ M. tech or equivalent in Polymer science or equivalent field having focus on polymers and its composites.
Experience o Strong work experience in Research and development in corporate or institute.
Skills & knowledge o Deep knowledge of polymer chemistry, properties and processing technologies. o Hands on experience on various R & D techniques and processes for polymer development. o Strong organizational and persuasive skills. o good verbal and communication skills.
Working conditions
Polymer Chemist I will have to work with full time presence at company’s R & D lab at Vadodara as well as manufacturing plant.
Minimum Travelling (< 10%) may require for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹135,913.00 - ₹410,605.00 per year
