We are Chemical Export oriented company with focus on Inorganic and Organic Chemicals exports from India.
Our company is growing at an unprecedented rate and we are interested in hiring a Purchase Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be open to travel and have an eye for attention to detail. The Purchase Assistnat will report directly to the Head- Procurement & Logistics, and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment. We offer opportunities for advancement for the right candidate, and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities of a Purchase Assistant: -
Travel to supplier locations to verify the quantity, quality and other requirements of the procurment..
Attending meetings with vendors and taking minutes.
Tracking of orders.
Assisting with analyses and reports.
Assisting with the inspection of goods.
Assisting with vendor development.
Assisting with Logistics.
Maintaining knowledge of market/industry trends.
An ideal candidate for this job must possess the following: -
Bachelors Degree in marketing/Logistics, or similar.
Previous similar experience recommended.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
Ability to travel locally when required.
Proficiency in Excel.
The candidate can expect to travel to multiple locations of gujarat like Gandhidham, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Surat, Taloja etc. minimum 10 days a month.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
