Designation : Supervisor – Fabrication
Location : Works Factory, Vadodara
Reporting to : Production Manager
Roles and Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
Study the Drawings received from the Design Department and analyse the required activities to be undertaken
Daily work planning and allocation to fabrication team
Procurement of Material resources required for completion of Jobs and allocating the same to respective workers.
Managing material to be sent for further processing jobs
Procurement and inspection of material sent for outsourcing, checking quality and receipt of all material
Ensuring efficient completion of process of Cutting, Fabrication, Bending, rolling and Welding
Inspection of the mentioned activities post completion for quality
Collaborate and communicate effectively with various engineering departments
Ensuring that the team members comply with the discipline and safety norms in production activities
Effectively resolve issues as and when they arise in the production process.
Work standardization and process improvements
5s and Visual Management
Requirements :
DME / B. Tech/ B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) preferred 4 plus years of experience
Must possess excellent fabrication and structuring judgment and analysis
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work loads, working with vendors for outsourced jobs, technical skills to improve the work quallity
Basic Safety, Quality Focus, Process Improvement, Leadership, Production Planning, Production Documentation
