What is the Mega Plan of Railways?

This scheme will add 7 thousand to 8 thousand new trains to the railway fleet. He said that the old trains will be replaced by new trains in the next few years. At the same time, sufficient seats will be available for passengers.
How to end the hassle of waiting tickets?

With a 30 percent increase in the number of trains, the waiting list will be eliminated completely. Then there will be no problem during any festival or rush during peak hours.
What is the railway planning going on?
According to the Railway Minister, full preparations are in place for the complete expansion of Indian Railways by the year 2030. During this period, preparations are being made to invest about 12 lakh crore rupees. He also said that in the current financial year, the Railways has spent 70 percent of the allocated amount of around Rs 2.4 lakh crore. By March, this track will be approximately 6 thousand kilometers long.
