This means that BJP, which is contesting against PM Modi, will not be able to get a majority alone this time. How can Congress form the government?
To form the government at the Center, Congress will need 272 seats, while according to the trends, it is leading on 232 seats. This means that Congress will need 40 more seats to form the government. First of all, Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi will have to turn to other small political parties and independent candidates, who are leading on about 17 seats.
