In this video shared by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, India's first bullet train station is ready at Sabarmati in Ahmedabad and during the construction of the station, a unique blend of cultural heritage with modern architecture is being seen. Apart from this, passengers will also find state-of-art modern facilities in the bullet train station. This is another big achievement for Gujaratis and Ahmedabadis.





The bullet train station became a multimodal transport hub

A 508 km long track is being constructed for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project and the train will pass through tunnels and under the sea. The project is likely to cost a total of Rs 1.08 lakh crore. 81 percent of this cost will be met through the Japan Soft Loan at a rate of 0.1 percent per annum, with a repayment period of 50 years including a grace period of 15 years, it has been reported.

 It is worth mentioning that this bullet train project was started in the year 2017 by Prime Minister Modi and former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. This bullet train station has become a multimodal transport hub.

According to the information, Ahmedabad will become the transport hub of Gujarat in the coming years. Currently, big news has come out about the bullet train, according to which, the bullet train depot will be ready in the Sabarmati area of the city, the bullet train is going to run between Maharashtra and Gujarat in 2025-26. 

This bullet train depot will also have special facilities, currently the construction of VVIP lounge, waiting room and escalator for this bullet train depot is going on in full swing. The facility of bullet train, metro and BRTS will also be available here in a single kilometer route. 

The special thing is that this bullet train depot has been prepared based on the Satyagraha theme, not only this bullet train depot will be illuminated with lighting at night, currently it may take about seven months for the bullet train to be fully prepared.

Indian Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav today unveiled a video of India's first bullet train terminal at the Sabarmati Multimodal Transport Hub in Ahmedabad. In a video shared by Ashwini Vaishnav, a glimpse of modern-day architecture combined with cultural heritage was seen. 

Equipped with state-of-the-art and modern facilities, the terminal is ready to serve the passengers of India's first bullet train operating between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. This train project is being executed with the technical and financial assistance of the Government of Japan. 

The project is expected to connect the two major cities in about 2.07 hours with a maximum design speed of 350 kmph. The project consists of a double line of 508 KM length with tunnels and underseas. 

The government had estimated that the project would cost around Rs. 1,08,000 crore and 81% of the project cost will be borne by a Japanese soft loan at 0.1% per annum, covering a 50-year repayment period including a grace period of 15 years. 

The project was launched in 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
