Many money related changes are made on the first of every month. It includes changes in LPG cylinder, CNG and PNG prices. Apart from this many banks also change their services. These changes have a direct impact on citizens' pockets. There are only 3 days left in April including today. From May 1, there will be some changes that citizens need to know about.

LPG cylinder prices

It is possible that LPG cylinder prices will change slightly from 1st. The price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder has not changed recently, but the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been changing continuously. It is expected to increase or decrease by the beginning of this month. Apart from this, the price of CNG and PNG may change.

ICICI Bank

ICICI Bank has changed some services and charges which will be effective from May 1. For example, the debit card annual fee has been reduced to Rs 200. However, for villages it is Rs. 99 will be. You will get a free check book of 25 pages in a year but after that you will have to pay Rs 4 for each leaf. Even if the transaction is done through IMPC, the money has to be paid. This amount can be between 2.5 to 15 rupees.

YES Bank Minimum Balance

The bank has changed the minimum average balance for various types of its savings accounts. Its price ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000. For Pro Max it is Rs. 50,000 and for Savings Account Pro Rs. 10,000 is. Whereas, the minimum average balance for Yes Respect SA is Rs. 25,000 is.

Investing in Special FDs for Senior Citizens

The last date to invest in the Special Fixed Deposit Scheme for Senior Citizens run by HDFC Bank has been extended. This is a special Senior Citizen Care FD scheme, in which senior citizens are given the benefit of high interest rates. The scheme was launched in May 2020. In which the last date of investment has been extended to 10 May 2024.

Yes Bank and IDFC increase credit card charges

Yes Bank and IDFC First Bank have informed that they will charge 1 percent on utility bill payments from May 1. Therefore, if you pay an electricity bill of Rs 2000 through credit card, you will have to pay Rs 20 extra. However, these banks have also given some relief to the customers for now. Yes Bank also offers a free usage limit of up to Rs 15000 on utility bills and IDFC First Bank offers a free usage limit of up to Rs 20000. Due to this you can withdraw Rs. 15 thousand utility bills and from IDFC First Bank Rs. You can pay up to 20 thousand without paying any fee. Payments above this will incur a 1% charge plus 18% GST.

Aadhar card


If no change has been made in Aadhaar card for 10 years, then the government has asked to do this work, for this it is suggested to go to the nearest Aadhaar center and do KYC again.
